APPLIX is the new brand name for the complete range of devices for delivery of enteral nutrition, provided by Fresenius Kabi. The tube range is under the subbrand Freka®.
Transnasal tubes are indicated in patients with less than 4-6 weeks of enteral nutrition. Fresenius Kabi offers a versatile range of transnasal tubes with corresponding accessories:
- Freka® Feeding tubes (PUR): for gastric or intestinal feeding
- Freka® SIL tubes (Silicon rubber): for gastric or intestinal feeding
- Freka® PAED tubes: for paediatric patients
- Freka® Endotubes: for placement through the endoscope
- Freka® Trelumina: for intestinal feeding and gastric decompression
